As soon as autumn begins, we propose you to plunge into incredible atmosphere – albeit a small but wonderful, vibrant and insanely beautiful country. Moldavian autumn is an abundance of colours, fruits, vegetables and sweet grapes!
Moldova’s autumn is an endless party! In autumn, many interesting events take place, and the most striking and fascinating Moldavian holiday is the National Wine Day, also called the “Wine Fest”. It takes place on the first weekend of October. This is the time when the weather is still warm in Moldova, and by the standards of more northern countries – it’s still summer.
National Wine Day is a national bacchanalia, indescribable fun, folk dances and of course aromatic Moldavian wine. You will never find such thing in stores. At the festival you can get acquainted with the products of more than 45 of the best winemakers in our country. But this holiday is not only about alcohol. For you will be prepared the best dishes of national cuisine and more than 30 music groups and theater groups will perform at the festival.
